Arrack - Indian / Sri Lankan liqueur

All,
have done the required search on TT, but to no avail.

What I am looking for is original Indian or Sri Lankan Arrack (not to be confused with similarly named Middle Eastern product). It is a rum/brandy type alcohol.

Have tried quite a number of Asian food shops in Munich, but no joy.

I remember seeing it in a shop somewhere here, but now 3000+ Helles later cannot remember where.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I know where you can get Amrut,
Indian whisky.

But arrack ... Sorry.

Thanks, WH, tried Amrut a few years ago, thought it was OK, but was over priced, like most Asian imports, Suntory being a prime example, for the price I can buy a very good Islay etc.
seem to recall SCOMA are selling it amongst others.

Yes, quite a few sell it nd I agree that the price is quite high compared to other offerings.

I don't personally sell this standard stuff, but if you ever want something special, then look in on my Whisky-Emporium auction site.
I hope to add an online fixed shop soon too.

I also recall seeing the Amrut in Tara when I called in there a few weeks ago.

I've a bottle at home (genuine old arrack, bought in Sri-Lanka) that's had about 3 doubles out of it. Make me an offer, I rarely touch it.
