Name change reversal after divorce

Just divorced, and need to return to my own name. Don't even know which Amt to contact.

No personal experience, but I'll be doing it soon too. It seems like you need to go to the Standesamt to change your name. Remember, all forms in triplicate and your signature in blood during a full moon...

Standesamt München - Namensänderung

When I changed my name, I went to the einwohnermeldeamt with my divorce papers and got everything changed there.

So I guess we'll be seeing you all at the next TT Singles night??

recently the police phoned a distant relative of mine in my hometown to confirm my identity.
