The Süddeutsche Zeitung is hosting a foosball/tabletop football competition on May 20 in its inner courtyard at Sendlinger Strasse 8. Starting time is 11.30 am, the event will last until app. 6 pm. In case of inclement weather the event will take place indoors.

Any team of two can join up starting immediately, minimum age is 12. 300 teams will be competing for the title of "Master of Kicker". The tickets cost €10 each (valid for two participants) and include food, beverages and various prizes.

So put your hands where your mouth is and show how British (or other ex-pat) skill will beat the Germans all hollow.

I would love to enter this but I have seen how good the Germans are at this. Frightening.

Should be fun to watch though
UrbanAngel
Is it with or without flicking the players 360° in the German rules?

Wait til next year when they're coached by Klinsmann - you'll win hands down then

The site doesn't say so but I'm sure they will post the rules at the event.

Seeing as how I support Leverkusen you may as well give up.
Crawlie
Well then you are of the minority. We have had the Klinsmann argument in other topics so no point going into it more here
