Would getting banned from TT really bother you?

Depends on who's getting banned.

Temp. bans haven't done me any harm
It would make a martyr of you Grinner. Being banned is the ultimate accolade a Veteran TTer can achieve. It carries just so much street cred. Well done son.

As long as there a open proxies on the net and TT still allows new sign-ups, then there is no such thing as a Perm. Ban.

Exactly, the only thing about it that would bother me is the sheer sillyness of it. It's the fucking internet for christ's sake. There are thousands of forums for forum addicts to post to, internet cafés all of the city and IP masking software if someone could actually be bothered.
I would be upset if I was banned from my favourite café or bookstore. But the internet? Please.

It is actually possible to ban someone from the internet. They can change their ip as often as they want, they can even have multiple user names, but they will still be prevented from accessing the the net or the very least the amount of effort required would not make it worth the while. Unfortunatley the tool required cannot as yet be downloaded but is available as shareware or to buy if you know where their is such an establishment that would stock such tools.
It's actually a very basic piece of technology, developed somewhere in the middle east I'm lead to believe. It's called Cleaver 1.0.4, installing this tool onto intended targets fingers, there is no system restore that can undo the damage caused.

@Slackmack
I take it you haven't heard of voice actication and control. Such products as Dragon natural speeking and IBM ViaVoice, will allow said fingerless person to still access/control their PC, thus still get online.

Cleaver 1.0.1 took care of that problem

Cleaver 1.0.4 is more refined, it can be focused anywhere, whereas the first edition just went in swinging madly cutting a swaive and usually causing prog. Life 1.0.0 to be deleted!

I've been there before, too.
Got a shit load more work done. I think geting banned would do me the world of good. After all, most topics I start are either removed or just total shite.
What can I do to get banned? Choose my fate!

You could of course, just choose not to log on. Wild concept, I know.
