Over 30s Italian dinner - Easter weekend

Okay people, I thought I would run with this one as I promised to organise another get-together for the over thirties. For those that are left in the city this Easter w/e I'm proposing a dinner at Italian restaurant in the Sendlinger Tor area on Good Friday Eve or Sat eve... 7pm? Let me have your feedback and I'll organise if we have sufficient interest. Answer here or send a PM.

Is Good Friday Eve, Holy Thursday? And is Easter Saturday Eve, Good Friday? Are you using eve as a dimuntive of evening?

I'll come, would prefer Saturday EVE, cos I'm working Saturday morning. Assuming you DO mean Saturday evening, that is.

Would like to come but am away in the UK for Easter...but I think I know the restaurant you have in mind 'La Vecchia Masseria'?...and it's a great place...shame I'll not be here...

sorry guys - I meant "evening" ... response so far seems a tad slow - yes was planning on booking at La Vecchia Masseria... but will go with the majority for which evening Friday or Saturday... Looks like Sat seems more popular...

well, one night I have to cook a shepherd's pie for my ex, otherwise he'll claim his fridge back (cos he can't fit enough pizza in the one he got in the divorce settlement to tide him over the long weekend )
so it's hardly party-central, I'm afraid

Make 2 and we'll all come round to your place!

If people are like me (god forbid) then they are praying for decent weather this coming long weekend. And if that weather arrives, then there will be no holding them back when it comes to hitting the lakes and mountains etc. If the weather stays the way it is, then there's more chance of getting a bigger crowd together. Just a hunch though.

Oh I like "la veccia masseria" although it can be quite busy and loud. In my opinion, they always try to fit to much people in. If it will be a bigger group I would ask for the big table in the very end of the restaurant, that was the best place we had so far.

I would love to attend but I will be out of town until Sunday afternoon so no chance to come along

Just to confirm its Sat 15th April at 7pm at La Vecchia Masseria - Table will be booked under the name of Toytown. Nearest U-Bahn is Sendlinger Tor. Address is Mathiledenstrasse 3. Its directly opposite the eye hospital (for those who might have a problem finding their way in or out of the building!). Tel no of the restaurant is 089550 9090. Any additions or cancellations please advise me directly on this or via PM. Bookings close Thursday at 9pm.

OKay guys sorry that Bad Doggie and OhFFS can't make it but no worries we will do another one in a few weeks as well. TinaP I have added you to the list. Sure we can flex the list till Sat lunchtime for any last minute add ons. The restaurant were very laid back about me adding extra numbers if necessary so at the moment there are 12 of us. Please let me know if you have any changes.

Looking good - on 15 with two possibles. Please check the list below to makes sure I haven't left anyone out...Will make table booking now for 16 to ensure we don't have anyone sitting under the table due to lack of space. (Unless of course you have fallen there first... but us over thirties wouldn't do things like that would we???!!!)) Please let me know no later than Sat lunch time of any change..
