I recently moved to Munich and I am pregnant. I will get married in August and I will be around 6 months pregnant then. Do you have any idea where I can find wedding dresses for pregnant women in Munich?
Thanks!

Have a walk down sonnenstrasse starting from
Karlsplatz and head south. There are many Wedding dress places in this area.
You sound awfully experienced in these matters DK

there are a few shops in Sonnenstr- one near Josephspitalstr and one closer to
Sendlinger Tor. Think there might be a wedding dress link somewhere with all the shops listed.
ps- Thanks Oh great one Ed Bob!

Definitely go to the
Baby Messe, April 28-30.
I went last year, and they offered a maternity clothes fashion show at several different times during the weekend. The grand finale was wedding dresses.
I will be organizing an outing there with my friends on the Friday. PM me if you'd like to come along with us (and probably a few babies.)

Cart before the horse?
Wedding and event has lots of stuff in the windows, but I haven't seen a prego manekin.
It doesn't mean that there aren't any suitable dresses in the shop itself.

No, of course not. It doesn't seem to be a good marketing tool when you think of it. Maybe in New York, but not here. The best thing maybe to buy a dress that you like and have it fitted.

It is very common in Germany to be obviously pregnant when you are getting married. The shops on Sonnenstr will be able to help you find something easily. Last year one of them had an advertisement out on the street with a picture of a baby that said, "look, doesn't mommy look pretty!". Good luck!

Plus, the fact that the maternity wear fashion show at the Baby Messe featured bridal wear and dresses suitable for other dressy occasions indicates that they will have dresses for pregnant brides in these shops. There's definitely a market for it here in Germany.
