Indoor five-a-side football games - Fridays

Aye, Cause we are right renowned for following the official rules of 5's when we play!!

The Goalie scoring from a throw is the least of our worries!!

Basically the official rules of 5-a-side state no one is allowed in the area except the actual keeper but we play differently Fridays because the pitch is small.


Hazza, this statement is explaining that the defensive keeper could potentially put into his net (by accident) but cant score in the offensive net!!

I'm only arguing the point coz I must have tried to throw the ball into the opposing net a dozen times and this is a vain attempt to make me feel less stupid...

...and as Hazza was on the opposing team, I decided to keep the information to myself as it was a cheap way of getting the ball back!!

I would have thought someone from my own team might have been kind enough to tell me though...

Our despairing faces should have been a big enough clue.

I can't tell you how disappointed I would have been if I'd actually got the ball in the net and it would have been disallowed...

Alright ladies! I've cancelled this week's footy because there's virtually nobody around. Socca 5 is closed the two weeks after that, which means our next game will be on January 11. Have great Christmases one and all and see you mob in 2008!!

It's official, lads: Friday Footy is back! We've all had our winter break and we're all fatter, slower and less skilful than ever before! So, if you want to run off the 12 boxes of chocolates, 16 gallons of beer and that feeling of malaise, stick your name on the old team sheet and get yourself down to the hallowed turf on Friday at 6 pm.

Hey, are you playing with mixed teams as well, or is it just guys. Or if that's the case does anybody maybe know bout mixed or women's indoor football/futsal teams, leagues or just any kind of social games.
