Hi everybody,

1. If you still want to play indoors in the summer.

In englisher garten there are mosquitoes, sometimes there are holes in the ground so injury risk is a little higher. I work near hirschgarten, and flies are rare over there, but the holes are still around. Plus englisher garten is pretty hard to reach if I'm coming with car. I prefer playing outside, the air is so much better! But we need a real playground; maybe rent one? There are so many sport vereins in munich, maybe we could register with one for such a playground.

2. Whether you'd prefer to get the outdoor equipment or have a couple of extra indoor games.

I was a sub, and came seldom. The ones that paid should decide on this.

3. What day you would like to play footy in the summer. We don't have to do Fridays anymore.
Tuesday or Wednesday evenings are fine for me.

Hi guys,

I was away all weekend so haven't really had a chance to see how much all the equipment would be. Anyway, cos of the crappy weather I've decided to book us a shorter indoor game this week. Best that was on offer. So, GAME ON FRIDAY, MAY 11 FROM 6PM - 7PM. Sign up as per usual!!!

See you there and we can chat about the whole thing there.

Andy
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
6 confirmed so far. Keep em coming gringos.
BigGaz
Is there a game this week? Inside or outside is good for me.
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Thanks for the wake up call. I reckon a lot of people will be away this week so the plan is to have a game on Friday OUTDOORS!! Something like 6. Post your name in this thread if you wanna play and I'll confirm the location later this week. It'll probably just be a park unless I can track down something better.
JOB
Me is in!
JOB
Bump-ity bump.

What's happening tomorrow guys, we playing or what?
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Yeah, chop fucking chop. When there's no game on people just don't bother checking the thread. Me no understande. Anyways, I saw a decent looking pitch down at the olympia park today from the top of the hill. I'm gonna jog by there on Friday during the day to check it out. If that turns out to be a dud, we'll just meet in the Englischergarten. 6 pm kick-off. Game will definitely be on and we'll just join in with other folk. I'll post again after my nice long sleep.
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Well, the flood of responses has been overwhelming!!! Jack offs! Anyways, Frank and Ingo are gonna play so we'll just say meet up in the English garden at 6 pm tonight. All newbies etc welcome. You can feel free to pm me for my number but I'll probably just wear my Lennon top to make it easy for people to spot us. Enter the park from the Giselastr entrance and just head straight in and look to the left. Shouldn't be too hard to spot us as it'll probably be too chilly for the Germans today!
Englishman78
Can't make it today but will be available for anytime next week.

JP
JOB
Well that's just not good enough!
Englishman78
So, how was the game last week? Anybody up for a kick around tomorrow?
BigGaz
check the thread!
Englishman78
Where is this elusive thread? mad.gif

You have now caused me to resort to Smileys in my anger...
calin
is the game still on today? I'd like to come with a friend!
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
OK, kids. No footy tonight but DEFINITELY a park game over the weekend. It depends on the weather but I'd hope to start a 'football Sunday' thread tomorrow. There will be an old skool football sign up sheet and all. Probably English garden at 2 ish.

Figo hijo puta es!
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Alright bitches. The weather was so dire on Monday that a game of water football just wasn't doing it for me. I'm gonna be in London this weekend so you'll have to organise your own games. When I get back next week, I'm gonna book a block of indoor games cos people just don't seem to be able to bring themselves down to a park. No cunt ever checks this thread either so I will pm all the regular players with details of the new game arrangements and money etc. But as I'm probably just talking to myself in this thread, fuck it!

And remember kids: Beat that man!
axel.schmidt
Is this still active? Will there be room for a substitute this Friday, June 8?
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Hi Axel, cheers for your pm and hopefully there will be a game. So, regulars and non-regulars: who's interested in a game on Friday, 6 June from 6 pm - 7:30 pm? Use the sign up sheet or stick a post on this thread. Will need to HURRY UP and book it so be quick as I need to get rough interest levels or I'll lose a bunch of money.

Everyone will need to bring about 5-8 euros per person depending on how many turn up. I've enquired about a few outdoor pitches and so the rest of the sub money from the last round of games is reserved for that. Buying the sports equipment makes no sense as no one ever bothers to come to the park games!!
Englishman78
Bump. I'm in...
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Not enough interest I'm afraid. I'm guessing some people have gone home for the weekend. I'm DEFINITELY going to book a game for midweek next week. Will pm all regulars with the confirmed time and also the usual subs.
Englishman78
Furry Muff. Bunch of slackers. I'm in for the midweek game.
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
GAME ON! This Tuesday (12 June) from 9 pm - 10:30 pm. All regulars will receive a pm shortly. ALL PLAYERS WELCOME - but just email me if you're not a regular and I'll stick you on the list. The game is booked so make the effort to come cos it has to be paid for.

The cost of the court €69 will be split between the players. Budget for around €6 each.
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
OK, we've got 8 so far and so we're looking for a couple more players. The game is definitely on and please give me a shout if you're reading this and wanna play. See you all there tomorrow night. I'm sure we'll have at least 10 by tomorrow night.
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
We've now got 11 players so it's game on big style! What with this weather and all, it'll probably be a welcome return to our favourite hall!
DJ_Jazzy_Guff
Alright lads. The summer games have been a bit quiet around here, but that's just cos it's proved difficult to get enough players together.

Anyways, I have received all the info from Socca5 about the next round of Winter matches. Basically, they have reserved our spot from last year but they need a 'yes' answer by 10 July at the latest or other guys can nick our spot. We could risk waiting to see if another spot will become available on another night, but we may then end up losing the whole damn games altogether. I would strongly recommend we keep our old slot of Friday 6-7:30 pm. As for costs and info, here you go:

QUOTE
Bitte melden Sie sich umgehend, spätestens bis 10.7.2007. Sollten wir keine Antwort erhalten werden wir Ihre
Spielzeit der letzten Saison in den freien Verkauf geben.

25 Reservierungen : Woche 08. Oktober 2007 bis Woche 21. April 2008 ohne Weihnachtsferien und Osterferien

90 min. 1.552,50 €

If we go for that option AND go for 12 regular players like last time, it will come to €129.37 each. All of the regulars from last time will have first refusal. However, I know for a fact that some of the regulars have disappeared so anyone else interested should PM me pronto. Only say you want in if you definitely want to play and you are pretty sure you'll be here for the period in question. If you leave before the games start, we will do our level best to sell your place on to someone else. If you leave midway through, we can try and work something out as well.

If you're a risk taker, you can just try and join us a sub every week, but we really do need 12 people to commit to paying upfront or this thing just won't get off the ground. We did the same thing last year and the whole thing worked out absolutely fine. No one is gonna run off with your money except maybe the guys at the Olympiapark

The money will need to be transferred to me as soon as possible after confirmation that we've got 12 regulars.

The rest of the money from last year's subs will be deducted evenly from the fees of the regulars from last year who sign up again. I'm still on the lookout for decent outdoor goals. I bought two the other day from LIDL following a recommendation by Ingo. However, they turned out to be absolute shite and would require a small team of scientists to assemble every damn time!! I took those pieces of S-H-I-T back!

You can either post your interest here or PM me. I have listed the regulars that I think will still be interested here. Anyone else interested should PM me!!

Nice work my son. I'm in! Also let me know if there's any kickabouts going on soon as I could do with a run-out. Would hate to turn up after preseason looking like Andy Reid.
Englishman78
p.s. you sound surprised that the quality from LIDL let you down... Did you happen to pick up the goalposts fom those baskets of random good they have in the centre of the store containing usually, a pair of trainers for 99c, a 27 piece utensil set for 89c and probably an Alpine Power Walker stick for €29.99?

And as for those Lidl goals, these were the high price model, i.e. €39.99!! laugh.gif I wouldn't be seen dead in that place but I had to cos fucking Ingo just wouldn't take no for an answer. We carted these darn goals home and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I opened them! I'd said to Ingo in the shop, "Why are the guys in the picture on the front only about 8 years old." He said in true Ingo style, "Hey come on! It says 2 x 3 metres!" However, when I got home I realised why there was a warning sign which read, "Soft ball only!!"

Are there ever any games at the weekend? Would like to join up but weekdays are usually difficult. Thanks. N.
JOB
Our usual indoor games are midweek, Friday 6pm - 7.30pm. We did try and get games organised at the weekends outdoors, but there wasn't enough interest to get a good game.

Just keep an eye out for threads, as we always post when we're trying to get something organised.

And there we have the dirty dozen!! 3 more guys: Jocraig, RebellionLies, PeWa74 and Boxing Roo all want to join as well (that was the order I received the PMs in). If anybody pulls out or doesn't pay, I'll contact you in turn. I will also put you guys down as the first choice subs, which means you'll be the first ones to jump in if (WHEN!) a player can't make it for a week.

I'll confirm our booking with Socca5 and will come looking for the money shortly.

Big up yourselves, booyakasha.
