Yeah, they predicted this on Monday, snow today, then turning to rain tomorrow, and 15 degrees for Saturday and Sunday. Well looks like flight chaos again for me tomorrow. I am off to Stockholm.

As with every year since I have been in Germany, it snows two weeks prior to or after Easter, but not both. It has never snowed after that for the year.
This qualifies as the two weeks before so this should be the last time this year.

I went down to Neuschwanstein today with 15 tourists...snowed non-stop all day. ...probably the last we'll see though, so it's ok.

We have two sunny days coming up. That's it. Change in forecast. Sunday will already be rainy again. Next week is going to be very rainy and cold again as well, so go out there tomorrow and Saturday - it could be the last time we see the sun this April!

The fun bit is that half of the locals have already swapped winter for summer tyres. They were thinking "oh it's April, so I have to do it now because I always do". This is what they get for it. I love it. I hate routine

Hiya,
went hiking last weekend (Saturday). Got lost a couple of times, because many of the paths are still covered in snow and you can easily loose the correct path that way. At one point we couldn't continue, because the main path was washed away by a mudslide. We had to improvise and did get lost again. But we managed in the end, covered in mud and with drenched hiking boots. This was at Königssee and a very easy hiking route. I can only say good luck my friend! It hasn't become any drier this week.

Has anyone heard whether we're supposed to have a real summer this year? Or will it be another like the last two.
I'm seriously considering moving back to Canada for the good weather

I'm sad for all the little Crocuses (Crocii?) that have been frozen to death
