It'll be happening most Sundays over the summer. (just check Munich Gaa Website if in doubt)
All are welcome to join in!
Location will be near the Klein Hesselhoher see, i.e. near the main road into the Park when approaching the Gardens from Giselastr U Bahn.
Just look for the lads with sticks!!

Oh - hurling is such an unfun thing in my mind. "Dude! I gotta hurl!" blink.gif

The words puckabout and Gaa didn't help much.. laugh.gif

Lads with sticks was funny though. biggrin.gif

I wanted to apologize for making fun of hurling, and went to the website to see what it was.

I still don't know what it is, the middle of the homepage says

munichgaa.com
more balls than anyone else in Europe

Chairman Maria has announcements, but his link didn't explain much either.

Anyway, whatever it is, it must be fun and involve people with a great sense of humor - I will have to wander past some day (but I won't say it's me in case they don't have a sense of humor ph34r.gif )

DDBug, hurling is like a cross between Lacrosse and field hockey played by mad irishmen with big sticks and balls.
Sin
DDBug - You should be ashamed of yourself. Hurling is an ancient Irish sport more popularily performed on grass. This is SERIOUS business.
