Lots of police activity in the Giesing area
Police cars seen racing up Humboldtstr - 23.Mar.06
A friend just called me to say that there are a considerable number of police cars and black vans racing along Humboldt str in the direction of Obergiesing. Anyone heard/seen anything?
But showem doesn't live in Obergiesing - she lives near me in Schwabing.
the march is in Maxvorstadt though

Maybe they are racing to the strikers.
It was definitely in the direction of Obergiesing Eurovol. And they were in a hurry - not milling around a planned strike action in another part of Munich.
Humboldt str is between the Au/Untergiesing, and nowhere near Maxvorstadt.

But what direction were they coming from?
well - if they were heading TO obergiesing on Humboldtstrasse then they were coming from the center of town (theresienwiese perhaps) look at the map.
