Recommendations for an older group, but still fun

During the Oktoberfest,I have been asked by my company to arrange a 2- 3 day seminar for some of our English speaking investors (think middle aged investment bankers). We have tables booked for the Oktoberfest, and there will be some time where they have to sit in a conference room for part of this industry seminar we are organizing, but there are dinners and tours i have to think about.

Being serious investors, who are a bit older, I cant just put them on a Hofbrauhaus pub crawl- it has to be a little more refined. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as restaurants for them to eat at (a group of 20 of them) - something particular to bavaria, and nice and fun as well?

Or activitites? has anyone organised a group tour for a group of 20 before? where did you go? how did you do it and what were the highlights?

Thanks

I lead Germania-wide group tours in the summer. In Munich, we use a private company; they jump on the coach and we drive around Munich, taking in all the obvious sites; Pinotheke, Löwnbräu, Olympiapark etc. There's a tour of Nymphenburg included. At the end, we are dropped off by the Opera, then walk to Marienplatz in time for the glockenspiel, oh yes. If you need to kill a bit of time first, detour down the Asamkirche.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you were thinking of (bear in mind you will probably have to organise the bus yourself), but if it is then I can find out the details of who leads these tours for you.

Any Augustiner should do, there is the one in Neuhauser Strasse, which is excellent and offers either a restaurant or the Bierhalle. Other options are Spatenhaus, Zum Franziskaner or the Pfälzer Weinstube, all of them between Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz.
I would recommend a tour of the Residenz and an excursion to the Olympiaturm. Depending on their fitness, visit the Viktualienmarkt and then climb the Alter Peter.
Aying offers a tour of the brewery, never done it but must be interesting.
Just off the top of my head ... Try Stadttouren in München, maybe the will customize a tour for you.
