OK, I must be naive. But having the odd flutter on the Rugby and Footie is no great sin (he says, checking carefully with his online calendar that it is not Sunday...).

Anyway, I thought, being up bright and early, caffeine coursing madly around my starkbier and chocolate soaked veins that given England have the slimmest chance to steal the Championship from the jaws of defeat, I would place a small wager on the outcome...

But OH NO ! Herr Deutschland says NO! I have an online account with Ladbrokes and when I went to log in...

What is that about? Have I missed something? I have done a quick 'search' and there would appear to be little info (on TT) about it... Do I have to sign up with a 'local'?

Try an anonymising proxy

Usually for accounts with UK bookmakers you need a UK credit card or a card attached to a UK address.

You might try Betfair - they are pan european I believe and you can deposit from your German bank account or credit card.

my acc IS with a uk address/KK so it is purely because they're checking the ip address - hence ohffs's suggestion...

Get a mate at home to access your Laddies account and put the money in (and hopefully withdraw the winnings for you). You should be able to bet using the money... they restrict you from the banking pages here but I believe still let you bet when it is in there. Hope that helps.
