So George Lucas has approved a 100 episode Series of Star Wars taking place between EpIII and EpIV.
Star Wars - The TV SeriesThe words Dead horse and flogging spring to my mind again.
Where will it all fit in
EpI
(Somewhere in here belongs the Star Wars Christmas special with Bea Arthur)
EpII
Star Wars - The Clone Wars
EpIII
Star Wars - The TV Series
EpIV
EpV
EpVI
For gods sake Lucas, stop what you are doing...!

I was gonna post this yesterday, but I thought I'd get scoffed at by you and Don for posting old news...
For some reason I thought I'd heard it before
Anyroad, if they're of the same standard as the most recent films, then I'll not be bothering to watch them, myself.

The thing is there are about 20 years between the end of EpisodeIII and the start of Episode IV so I would like to see how the story evolves through that time.

I think this series is going to suck ass. Having said that, I will still watch it and hope to be proven totally wrong. What bothers me about all of this expansion is that from now on kids everywhere will probably be disappointed once they get to the *original* movies. The special effects look clunky and c'mon once you've seen natalie portman is carrie fischer really special? seriously

You could be partially sealed in Carbonite for that you know.
Carbonite my ass...for what, pointing out that Natalie Portman is hotter than Carrie Fischer. Dog collar and gold bikini aside, naturally.

I feel a disturbance in the force !
I agree that Ms. Portmann is hotter by many orders of magnitude that Ms. fischer, but Carrie has that thin edge of absolute battyness than makes her alluring, at least back then so stop sprinkling sand on the hard drive of my pubescent fantasies you ninja you !
Besides if you've seen Natalie Portman in Leon why bother checking her out with dodgy Geisha makeup and a showerhose headress ?
Come to the dark side.

This is exactly the problem. Due to the advancement of movie making and since the current movies were pre-quels, the experience kids now get will be iPod to 8 track. I love me an 8 track but really ... anyhoo, my 11 year old cousin wants them to remake the last three movies. kids

You'ld almost feel sorry for this betrayed generation who will never know the joy of recreating light sabre battles with flourescent lights.
