Average wage for waitresses

Germany doesn't have a minium wage law so they can get away with it.

But even at Aldis the check out folk make over 10€ an hour?

When i worked as a waitress (this was about 8 years ago), the going rate was 10 DM an hour plus tips, but I have no idea what it is since the Euro has come in...

It all depends on where you work and whether you're paid under the table or not.

I made €6,50 + tips at a fairly nice spanish restauarnt/bar. It's definitely not much but you can live off it if you work a lot of hours.

Depends where you work but i know a girl who (in a good week) can make 800 oi rose in 4 days in tips !!! fair play tho she does work her socks off.

PS I want her job.
