Here is a morose thought post your home town's web page. I will post mine so when you folks want to visit the cosmopolitan village of Wichita Falls, Texas then you will need not look any further.
Do you remember in the 70's when everyone was painting fire hydrants? That was cool, the utility idea is also nice
The worst part is that I recognize most of those utility boxes and can tell where they are located.
Edit: Idiot, the address is listed under each picture.

Welcome to the Borough of Stockport, England. Aspirational, accessible, diverse and welcoming, Stockport stretches from the borders of the Peak District National Park to cosmopolitan Manchester.
Stockport is a place of contrasts, and offers a sense of balance and variety that is virtually unique. It’s a friendly and fascinating place to live – and to visit.
People actually live in Wichita Falls? I thought it was just a fake a city built by Dallasites to keep the tornados away.
Well at the rate Dallas is growing it will be a suburb of Dallas in five years. I still remember when Denton was 45 min away from Dallas. Now you canot drive from one to the other without losing sight of a strip mall*sigh*
Killarney, beautiful scenery. Just don't go there in the high season.
I've heard they say that the lakes of Killarney are fair.

@luckwad what does it mean when they say NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ON ANY CITY STREET AFTER 2 INCHES OF SNOWFALL! under snow parking rules? Where are you suppose to park? I mean all the streets belong to the city right? Snow rules
No, I'd never heard of it either before I got a job here (it's just north of Nottingham if that helps. Famous for, er, well the poet Lord Byron lived and is buried here, and, er, that's it I think)
@chloe: the answer is Ashfield's main homepage topic - recycle it of course!

everywhere in falcon heights actually has an alley in the back. most minnesota streets simply declare a side of the street you should park on overnight so the snowplows can get by (and they do, indeed run when we have merely 2 inches), but since everyone has an alley (and thus, at least a driveway in back if not a garage), they ask us to use them.

My parents live in North Berwick and although I was brought up in Dalkeith most of our relatives were in North Berwick so I think of it as home. It is a very pretty little seaside town just off the East Lothian coast in Scotland and is dominated by the 'Law', an extinct volcanic plug. It is also distinguished by its proximity to some of the oldest and best golf courses in the world:
Yes, we do have out own domain postfix...not bad for 30,000 people...

One of the things I actually miss from home! Perfect place for kids to play, as cars go about 3mph and there is endless space for sidewalk chalk murals, basketball games, fortbuilding, etc. Makes for a smaller backyard, but def. worth it.
Chichester was founded circa AD70 by the Romans who laid out the main street plan and built the original city walls, which were rebuilt in Medieval times. The Walls Walk offers a fascinating insight into the City with its varied architecture, parks and gardens. The focal point of the city is Chichester Cathedral in the heart of the city has been the centre of the community for 900 years. Its treasures range from Romanesque stone carvings to 20th century works of art including a window by Marc Chagall, a tapestry by John Piper and a painting by Graham Sutherland.
Culture in Roswell Roswell has so many things to do if you love the arts! With five museums, several galleries and a local theater, there is always something going on!
Tantallon Castle is bang next door to where my parents live and is one of the most romantic of Scotland's ruined medieval castles. It used to belong to Archibald 'Bell the Cat' Douglas who was a sort of Robin Hood character of the 14th Century and that is where I get my online monicker from
