E-mail money scams operating out of Africa

Another scam they do is to say, yes it will be done by bank transfer, but then send the bank a fake cheque by courier, so it looks like a bank transfer on your statement, but is in fact a dodgy cheque.

My names are Mr. Ken Bruno a Banker and accountant with Bank Atlantique Cote Ivoire. I am contacting you in regards to a business transfer of a large sum of money from a dormant account.
