I don't remember where I lifted this from:

QUOTE
A drunk Scotsman was kicked off a train in Germany after lifting his kilt and flashing passengers in a packed dining car.

The unnamed 46-year-old, from Edinburgh, was on a train from Basel in Switzerland to Düsseldorf in Germany.

He had several drinks in the dining car but allegedly refused to pay and started arguing with the waiters.

He then reportedly lifted his kilt on both sides and clearly demonstrated to all present passengers, who included women and children, that he was not wearing any underwear.

(Un)related question:

Can kilts be Irish too?

(regarding Friday, and despite the many hits in Google?)
Rizzo
I heard that the Scots emanated from Celtic immigrants from Ireland so presumably they brought the kilts with them.
Yeti
Emanated ?

I can understand something emanating from under a kilt after a heavy Guinness session but I think you're being a bit hard on the Scots there boyo.
Rizzo
Spawned?
Yeti
Well I suppose a kilt would be handy for that alright.

Did it win first prize?

A hired kilt...I'd suggest people wear something under it, you never know who's muck is on it and if its actually been cleaned.

When it's my kilt...nothing, EVER! This is the only acceptable way to wear it. If you get caught with pants on its assumed you're hiding something biggrin.gif

You'll only disappoint the ladies when they lift it if you're wearing something under it. (or maybe not as the case may be) laugh.gif
Yeti
So it's a save the rainforest kind of thing ? Reduce wastefull packaging and all that ?

It has been my experience that all you 'boys from the Isles' are rarely hiding very much under there. But, heh, it was a small test sampling.
scotsman
yeah, you need to take account of the small sample size wink.gif
It can skew your test results a bit biggrin.gif
Yeti
It depends on the test method used as well I suppose ?

I mean is it catch and release, or catch, tag and release or catch, stuff and mount for display ?

As to the sub-title: Been there, researched that.
On a good day three different shades of lipstick. On a bad day his mate's after-shave.

there are Irish kilts but they are self-coloured generally rather than tartan. I wear my kilt pantless in Scotland but trussed up elsewhere as you only need to mix alcohol with a female foreigner and they all seem to lift the bloody thing up without asking in very public places.

My sampling of all people from the west of the centre of the word wear Haddocks on their heads.
