When we came back to Germany on Monday we could get no satellite signal. We thought it was perhaps caused by all the snow sitting on our dish/LNB. However, all the snow has melted now and our neighbours, who we share the dish with, have no problems.
I've tried re-scanning for the Astra 19.2 sat but the receiver picks up no channels and everything appears to be set up as before. Does anyone have any tips on what may be wrong? My poor wife is stranded without GZSZ

If there is a Multiswitch... Go and disconnect from the mains electric and then re-connect.
If there is still no signal, try your RX on your neighbours connection..
If that works AND you have no multiswitch then there is a strong possibility that there is a poor connection at the dish/LNB
IF that dosent work...Sommats fucked and you need a "man who can!"
Maybe he can get you some free to air English channels too
