Poetry slams, open mic, and open stage events

Hi, happy easter!

There's a poetry slam at Substanz (Poccistrasse) tonight at 8pm. I'm planning to go, anyone else want to meet up before it starts, either there or someplace else? Usually have to get there early to even get a seat on the floor so you can see, it's really good!

The good news, inspite of nobody from Toytown even slighly interested in attending, half the folks from Cable & wireless are coming, the boys from the studio will be there and what and who ever from the Uni that show up. looks like we'll have a nice sized crowd

hi my name is gen and i am an american living here in munich. i would love to connect with other like-minded writers and check out an open mic. does anyone know of an open mic that is going on in munich in july, 2007? i think 2004 escaped me!

Do you mean also German events? I know of several, some open mic, or similar set-ups but not exactly the same as open mic, and not necessarily poetry.

If only English I'd have to pass.

I am a writer as well and find the lack of poetry events in English rather disappointing. I'd be willing to lend a hand in setting something up. Let me know what you want to do.
