Is there anywhere in Munich to take kids to see dinosaurs? I can't seem to find any sort of natural history museum in my guidebooks or listings.

Here you go: Paleontological Museum Munich blink.gif

The Museum of Mensch and Natur out in Schloss Nymphenburg has a dinosaur section or there is the Paleontologly Museum up by Köningsplatz that has a few skeletons.
The Museum of Mensch and Natur is great for kids though. Lots of hands on stuff. But they are both rather small dinosaur sections compared to some of the Natural History Museums.

Hi Betsy,
does it have to be IN munich?

Do you know Bad Feilnbach?
Near to there is a lovely Dinosaur museum along with all things including rocks, stones, minerals ... etc

It is signposted from the nearest motorway junction (Salzburg Motorway) and is in a very small village called Kleinholzhausen, the museum is "Urweltmuseum"

Here is the link (if I'm allowed):

Urweltmuseum

Adjoining the museum is a hotel / restaurant which serves wonderful "Hot Stone" cook 'em yourself at the table mixed grills and steaks!
