Not sure I understand, but there are loads of Greek restaurants here.
Re: pastrami, I've heard there is a Kosher restaurant that does deli stuff incl. pastrami, called Cohen's.
I don't know what homefries are, or what's special about American eggs.. but hope Cohen's helps! http://www.cohens.de

re: diners, greasy spoons, etc.
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who do not, no explanation is possible.

Ate breakfast yesterday at Cafe Schwabing with Herr and Frau Wunnspeed. I had over easy eggs and greasy potatoes with speck. Almost felt like home except for the TV showing women's cross-country skiing on Eurosport. Anyway, highly recommend the place.

Agreed decent breakfast there(Cafe Schwabing). I misss my grease and spoons from back home. Nothing like having the aorta clogging up by noon . I would even take an IHOP here even though they are a plastic copy of the GNS from the U.S..
