Cinema: Underworld - Evolution - Munich

This movie was way more fast paced than the first one. It helps if you saw the original Underworld (easy Sat. 4th at Cinema-Muenchen double-feature). I bet a lot of people won't like it because it's very bloody and loud, but that's fine for me!

For those who saw the first one: the second is a bit harder to follow, but answers a lot more questions about Corvinus and his sons. It's also a lot more violent / action-packed / gory than the first movie. There were about a dozen of those moments that make you *jump* although most of them were easy to predict.

So if you like bloody, action-packed vampire movies with a bit of mystery and (most importantly?) a shiny, black latex bodysuit... Underworld: Evolution is your movie...

Kate Beckinsale was the only thing the first movie had going for it...

Like I said depends what kind of movie you like: many will not like either Underworld.

The dark atmosphere and the vampire history was great. Acting, plot twists... those are not so much what I look for in a vampire flick.

2nd one definitely more violence and gore than the 1st. But it really ties the story all together!

Anyone interested in going to the late show at Cinema Nymphenburgerstr. (22.15h) today, possibly beers before? I saw part 1 and liked Kate instantly, so part 2 won't be a letdown for me

for those wanting to see underworld II but not tonight, it is also showing at mathaeser filmpalast in OV.
