Munich Irish Rovers new membership level

Non-competitive soccer games

MunichIrishRovers
Hello,

The Munich Irish Rovers have launched a new membership level ideal for those who cannot commit to training but would still like to get out and get a game every so often. We know a lot of Toytowners play leisure football in and around Munich and we also know how difficult it is for people who aren't members of a sports club to book time in sports halls and on football pitches. Therefore we are now looking for new members to join us for that very purpose.

The first event is already in the Toytown Calendar:
indoor football every Sunday

As soon as the snow clears we'll be hosting 'kick-about' games every Wednesday aswell.

We are also trying to strengthen our links within the expat community and would like to hear the opinions of Toytown users on the Rovers. In particular; if there is anything that discourages people from joining the Rovers, or is there anything more we could do in some areas.

Please give us your feedback here.

Why is it called "Irish" Rovers, do you have to be Irish ?
MunichIrishRovers
The club was founded by a group Irishmen.

We currently have members from about a dozen different countries

for example,
Scotland, England, Ireland, USA, Germany, Holland, Italy

If you've ever drank a pint of Guiness you're eligible to join the club tongue.gif

Some might say that all the best football clubs were founded by Irishmen. smile.gif

Been involved in a few clubs in my time and have to trump this one up as being the one of the most professionally organised and run - very good website too.

Cosmopolitan comes to mind when you look at the team sheets each week.

The indoor football sounds good. eSpecially as I look out the window where I see more of the white stuff than you would ever find in a trendy London wine bar ohmy.gif)
