The Dutch officially recognized by TT

Yes! It is with great pleasure I announce officially that TT recognizes the Dutch.

It took me ages of complaining, begging and whatever. But hey it was worthed! Editor Bob finally adopted the charts and there are now 0,4% Dutchies in the Chart!!!

In order to celebrate I am organizing a little party on the Viktualen Markt. Dress up and come celebrate.

568 members.. and 0.4% is dutch?!!. I guess that makes 568/100 x 0,4 = 2,27 guys.

You can round 2.27 up to 2.3 or down to 2 but not all the way up to 3 in any normal system.


No. If you already know 2 Dutch guys and there are only 2.27 Dutch guys here, that would make you 0.27 Dutch guy. Or 0.3 if you prefer.

I wanted to round that 0.27 all the way up because I thought a 0.27 of a guy doesn't make sense and I felt bad for the guy who managed to get his one arm in the stats.

But if you wanna get technical I guess the reason why we end up with figures such as 2.27 people is that 0.4% is rounded in the first place.

3 guys out of 568 --> 0.5282%
2 guys out of 568 --> 0.3521% (rounded to 0.4)

so there are 2 dutch guys indeed according to these stats.

Congratulations to all the Dutch people on this website on their new found recognition. Given that Dutch people often speak English alot better than many native English speakers, it seems only fair.

And for that matter, Wales, Northern Ireland and England? Surely such a large bloc needs to be cut down to size!

nobody actually comes *from* London though - at least nobody I met in the 8 years I lived there did

no most of the people that I knew in London during my time there, seemed to be from Poland, former British colonies, or non English parts of Britain.

Yes you all need to get Orange wigs. Specially round the WC time. Belgium used to be part of the Netherlands. But then again if you ask the Dutch they think they own the world. Where the rest of the world think Copenhagen is the capiltal
