Renting snowboading softboots

Snowboard boot hire / rental shops

I have searched Toytown and have yet to find a solid answer on where to rent snowboarding boots. I am planning to take a snowboarding course in early April and as I am not sure whether I will completely like it, I am hesitant to go out and buy some boots. Even if I can get cheap ones on eBay, I do not know if I want to buy boots that are just going to sit around and collect dust if it turns out that I hate it. I know you can usually rent boots at the skiing/snowboarding resort, but my class has explicitly stated that there will be no time to rent. Anyone know of a place to go? I have checked SportScheck with no luck. I would appreciate any constructive suggestions. Thanks! cool.gif

Well, where do you live? There's a mountain bike and snowboarding shop in Johanneskirchen - they do rental.

The place that Urban Angel is talking about is called- Happy Ride or something like that, take the S8 to Johanniskirchen and the shop is on Johanniskirchenstr by the Penny Markt.

I wanted to add to this as I now know of a closer place to rent snowboards, snowboard boots, ski equipment, etc. The place is Intersport, located near Münchner Freiheit, just across from the big bus terminal on I think Herzogstr.
