Hi, I was going to take the kids out for a meal or a snack or brunch or something, but I cannot think of anyplace new and kid-friendly. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Perhaps I should qualfy, the kids are now 5 and 8. We have, in the past, gone for running sushi (the kids ate more than the adults!) and bike rides to KFC (45 minutes - but the only fast food thing) or indian buffets. Now with the snow, bike rides are out. and the view from the Olympia Park isn't great today to eat up on the tower (original plan).

You might want to try EISBACH. I often go there with my 5 1/2 old daughter and she loves it. Staff is friendly and there is lots of room (check out the upstairs section, too). I can definitely recommend it.

That idea was axed (sorry) but we have decided to go play in the snow and go find "egyptian" food for an early dinner. (If anyone knows of a decent place for that, please let me know!!!)

Egyptian restaurant: Samara Oriental on Unsoeldstr (corner of Bruderstr) in Lehel.
Friendly staff, interesting layout, room for kids to wander around.
Southern Cross
We went to the "Wirtshaus in der Au" with friends the other Sunday and found the place VERY kids friendly! Our friends 3 year old son got a separate kids menu, some colour pencils and his own chair! After he had something to eat he was racing around the place with some kids from the table next to us! The waiters didn't seem to mind at all and we felt really relaxed too. rolleyes.gif
