Does anyone have any ideas?
# Dingsbums sieht man oft in bayerischen Heimatfilmen
Give a call if you have the right word, may be someone from TT is the winner.
Best of luck to all those giving a try.

Much though I hate to put a damper on proceedings (much!), do bear in mind that to call in an answer to the shows costs €0.49 per minute. With currently 10's of thousands of calls per day the chances of getting on air are small, the costs high, and the profits for Antenne Bayern substantial...

Seefahrt.
Every damn heimat film that I have seen has someone on a boat on one of the Bayeriche lakes, which is kind of funny since it is so restricted. If you have a boat and can take someone for a ride, you will sure as hell impress them and it is best to do this in good weather, blah, blah, blah...

It's still not been won but I have it on good authority that the answer is "ορειβασία", or rather in German "Bergsteigen"

Feb 22 2006, 3:11 pm
I would have guessed Maypole but in German there is no "e"... oh well
The one they did at christmas time was ridiculous... the question was "what is there a lot of in bavaria at christmas time" and the answer was ringing bells... so dont be surprised if the answer to this one is equally as stupid

all you said was that you had it under good authority that you knew the word. It wasn't confirmed. So I asked what the winning word was to confirm your "good authority" guess.
