Is it possible (legal) to be employed in two jobs (part-time or even theoretically full time) in two different European countries at the same time?

As long as you pay your taxes you can have 6 jobs.

since tax forms allow for it, i'd guess that it's not only possible, it's even legal

Indeed. Just you will need to sort out the taxes. Normally this is only paid in the country of your residence, although I think if you are lucky enough to be for example American, then they tax you anywhere in the world until you die.
Most countries have tax agreements so you dont pay twice etc.

I pay tax on my Canadian income in Canada and tax on my German income in Germany but I'm still considered a resident of both countries.

Normally (within the EU at least), you pay tax on all your income, regardless of where you earned it, in your country of residence. This is defined as the country you spend at least 180 days a year in.

It is allowed, but Rahul, I think it works only if you actually get paid in both countries, otherwise, taxes are no issue.

A little addition to my previous question..
Is it possible to have work permits of two countries simultaneously being a non-EU citizen? For e.g. now when I have started working in Switzerland and applied for a residence permit here will they inform the German officials about my auftehlatserlaubnis in Germany (which is still valid)?... As is in this case my primary address will not be in Germany, is it possible that my German permit gets void/cancelled?
