'VIB' will be owned by the Bavarian State, operated by Siemens I&S and PTV, and will integrate data from 'Bayerninfo', the Bavarian Traffic Information Centre, the Intrest Geodata platform and the Bavarian network of cyclists.
The VIB system will be owned by the Free State of Bavaria and will be operated by a company to be jointly established by Siemens I&S and PTV Planung Transport. The joint company's operating contract will last until 2015.
