I'm seeking running training partner who is interested in training during the week for roughly one hour to longer. I am just getting back into a routine, and want to meet new friends who share the love of running. Anyone keen?

Ive been in Munich for a couple of months now and run every other morning. Im generally quite a good self motivator but would love to hook up with some one else who wants to get themself ship shape for the summer. I like to run about 7 - 8k and it takes me 35 - 40 mins. If your in the Liam area and up for the training let me know.

Try these guys: Hash House Harriers. There are a few nutcases in the group who actually run, run marathons, etc.

Spam,

I may be up for that... If I did my math right, you're running about 4-5 miles, and at a pace of 8-9 min/mile? Not trying to get too technical, but I'm slowly getting back into shape and would be up for a good run once a week (or every other.) Try to hit the treadmill a couple of times a week right now, but am having limited sucess.

Shoot me a PM if you're still looking,

I'm searching for a running partner at least through the winter. I don't mind an English speaker, but I'd rather practice my German.

Tenley,

I am getting back into the running now...although the world cup is really not doing great things for my sporting life (I have developed a great beer gut at present !).

But when you feel like going for a run with an english speaker just give me a shout.

I wouldn't mind finding a running partner for a long run each week. Currently I have been running for about a year- running about 4 to 5 lots of 5 kms in Australia at a slow pace every week. Then while moving over here I didn't run for 3 months and started up 7 weeks ago. I am currently running about 9kms an hour speed (actual route I do is 8.1 kms (thats about 5 miles) in 54 minutes). I would like to both get faster on shorter runs and also do a longer run once a week (on the weekend), working up to doing to half marathon Stadtlauf next year in some sort of decent time for a woman!

I am well into the in the habit of running now and run either early in the morning or at night Mon to Fri, though I could get a babysitter for other times. Weekends I can run anytime, hot weather permitting. I have two rest days a week.

In an effort to keep motivated, I would like to find some running partners/ partner/ group at about the same level either to do a "normal" run or to do a 90 minute run on the weekend. I live near Goetheplatz, but am happy to travel on the weekends.

AND also if anyone has any running advice, glad to hear it. I think my running would benefit if I lost 5 kilos too... I am hoping this will come off as the year progresses if I keep up my efforts?? smile.gif

Hi there,

New to Munich and would love to find someone who'd like to go out for a 30-45 minute slow run (9-10k/hr) in the mornings in the Luitpold or Olympic Park. Would prefer running during the week, but open to morning weekends, as well!

Feel free to IM or reply!!
