Hi!
Does anyone happen to know the English translation of the word "Vertragsspiegel". I don't even know the precise meaning. I think it basically is the description of what is insured and at what costs.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that also the word "Vertragsumfang" is mentioned. I therefore guess that "Vertragsspiegel" and "Vertragsumfang" have two different meanings.
Without looking at the above link, I would say that it is a "reflection of whats in a contract". Basically the short version.
Vertragsumfang I would say is the meaning of each section. Sort of laymens terms and also a short version, but not exactly the same as the first word.

I have received the whole insurance certificate now. It seems that "Vertragsspiegel" indicates the details of who is insured, what the insurance number is etc., so what is stated in the link you gave me seems to be exactly what I needed! Happy face! :-)

A topical related example would be the Olympic 'Medaillenspiegel' i.e. medal table (summary). So contract summary is good I guess
