Coming to Munich for Two Months

I’m arriving Sunday for a two-month stay in Munich, and hope I’ll get to meet some of you. I’ve been living in Vienna for the past eight months (and will be returning there after my stay in Munich) and so already have much practice hanging out with other expats (mainly in bars, lately). laugh.gif So many crazy adventures there.

I love Indian food, so I’m glad to see it’s a regular thing on TT. Is it as difficult to convince them you really do want it extra scharf here as it is in Wien? wink.gif

Also really like opera and classical music, especially when they’re inexpensive (ich mag gerne Stehplätze!)

I might also try to take an intensiv Deutschkurs (I just finished my first Abendkurs at IKI here in Vienna). Any recommendations?

Thanks, and see you soon.

Most of the Indian restaurants serve their food very mild - but after going to the same place every week for several months, we've managed to get them well trained smile.gif They even do a "chilli nan" for us, which is pretty potent (and not on the menu).

intensiv Deutschkurs: yeah, get a job and speak german the whole day. then do your homework (mainly vocab) @ home. save your time and $$$$$$$$ with the german classes. learning by doing is the only way to go. but if you can sit through an opera or theater production (german that is) then you should have this language down pretty well. ??? was up wit dat
