Where did you get your tickets from and how much?

New in Munich and not a clue about these things, but this group sounds good

I do believe it is not...as so far I've got the Wilco, New Pornographers AND the Broken Social Scene tickets, whereas you've only got the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah ones... :-p

If you get them (early-ish) from Marienplatz you won't have to fanny around like you did before... :-)

What do you mean "Fanny around"?

If I remember rightly, you spent most of the hour or two leading up to Wilco panicking about the tickets because all you had was a bloody receipt.

There's a few places on the internet you can order them from, but most of them require a credit card...and if you don't have that, you're pretty much buggered.

Then there's ticket boothes in various places in the city, mostly in or near the U-Bahn stations ie Ostbahnhof, Marienplatz, Hauptbahnhof, Karlzplatz etc.

Oh ok I guess I will just have to take a look around Marienplatz when I get time and see if there are any ticket stalls there.

Seems like Munich has a really good music scene, I was expecting it to be all dance!

Yeah, I was pretty surprised too. There's lots of Jazz bars around too that I've yet to visit, the music scene seems extremely varied.
