"Marienhof" is a Munich-based daily soap and allegedly very popular (?!?, hearsay). The Protestant Crisis Line will be the recipient of the final price paid for a role in the series which is being auctioned off on EBay. There are eight more days of bidding, the current high bid is €505 (stand yesterday evening). If you, too, want to support a good cause and become part of an epic saga, feel free.

(I couldn't be bothered to find the EBay-link, to tell the truth)

Is this the link?

Looks like it. Maybe one of our 'Stenders afficionados is interested? Thanks, PES

OOhh I might try for this. Do you have to speak decent german?
byrdbrain
Hardly, I should think. It says Komparse, as in walk-on. Hell, if you do this, I'll even watch the episode!

Holy Cow! It takes €24 an hour to operate the Crisis Line, this should make them very happy.

The final bid (German) was €2750 for "hewama37", a newbie. This auction was his/her first bidding. The helpline is hightly pleased and gratified, let's hope that hewama37 will enjoy being a customer in the beauty shop or the veggie shop, or a dancer in the disco.
