Is this enforced?

If so, when does it kick in? Is it fully automatic? Is there a list of offenders somewhere?

What if you hit 4% of posts in the last 24hrs and you're nailed?

Yes, it is enforced. I seem to remember a nice Indian Chap who not to long ago decided to test this, and post 1oo+ messages in a few hours to almost every thread..

it is becoming harder and harder to hit the limit though. Back when some of us were warned the average daily post total was much lower.

how many is 4% roughly? not that i am in any danger to "overpost"

I would actually like to see a list of users in order of "posts per day" rather than that page "Average Posting" thing in the xtras.

Edit: 0.3 posts per day / 0.03% of total forum posts, based on your average. I think you would have to have a severe case of postal diarrhea to even get close.

Try posting at 4am after the clock has been reset on the post counts. You will hit is very quickly, expecially on Sundays-not that I know or anything.

I was sick one day and stayed home from work, and I actually hit the limit. That was, of course, back when I was in Munich and the only time it ever happened.

Whoops, I'm on 5.13% for today, without even trying. That's the problem with weekends; I'm not posting any more than usual but far fewer other people are online. But I'm working today, it's like a weekday for me, honest Guv!

Anyway, last post for a few hours... (the rent thread excepted).
