Viewing new posts - without scrolling to the top

Here`s a good question or suggestion, which needs an answer Ed Bob.
Is it possible to have a View New Posts underneath the threads, at the bottom like, yeah down there?
I am in fact a lazy bastard and hate scrolling up all the time, and seeing as you will be off-line for the weekend?? it would be no trouble to a man( or men) of your talent(s)
