Anyone know anything about the so-called "Basis Rente"? It was recommended to me by Deutsche Bank as a good way of claiming back some taxes. Appears to be a relatively new pension option in Germany (appeared within the last year or two) and an alternative to the Riester Rente which wasn't so good for foreigners...
