hey, why does sometimes a thick, black line appear under TT Munich in the header?
is this to indicate i have just responded to a certain post?

I have a line in Opera, no line in Internet Explorer or Firefox. Never noticed it changing within the same browser.

*be warned, this response is boring*
"Toytown Munich" in the above is a hyperlink. I would guess that you have "always underline links" turned on in your browser (e.g. in IE under internet options, advanced, underline links). If you are using IE, it can be intermittent as sometimes it chokes on the processing of styles when their is a stylesheet/inline style collision.
So, yeah.
Anybody heard any good jokes?

The black line is seen in Firefox occasionally also. It is a bug. Cause unknown. Possibly an error in the CSS.

Thanks Iceberg - we'll all rest a lot easier tonight knowing that

Yes. But it has a vague reference to non-caucasian people and I do not want to be accused of being racist or the like. I stared at man with a limp on the U-Bahn this morning. He had a piece of chewing gum on his coat but I still stared. And he had a limp. I feel like such an asshole

Wonder if anyone else saw him?

No. They all awkwardly turned their heads and started discussing the weather

Serves him right for limping. You can't go around limping like some kind of person with an injury and not expect people to stare.

Admit it, you were in a different country this morning.

No! It was definitely Germany, and certainly Munich as I witnessed the morning ritual of tripping up guests who look slightly different.
That is what happened to limpy bloke I reckon. He probably got done on the U4 and fell on some chewing gum

I am sure the mods would prefer a white line.

Because you're in the wrong clique.
woof.
Jimbo
Jan 31 2006, 11:50 am
How do I join the 'line' clique then? Do I have to leave Keydeck's clique first?
Johnny English
Jan 31 2006, 12:00 pm
First Jimbo you have to join the "I live in Germany" clique.
Jimbo
Jan 31 2006, 12:01 pm
Who the fuck wants to join that clique?
Johnny English
Jan 31 2006, 12:03 pm

Probably not a good idea. You'd see many more posts getting randomly deleted if the mods were on coke.

or perhaps if they were on coke they'd have the live and let live philosphy and there'd be a free for all on TT w/o deletion

Reading the wiki on 'The Pit' makes it sound as though the moderators only had it up there to prove why moderation is a good idea...hmmm...cunning.
