Is that for your "partable" telly ? request for telly

Get off yer lazy arse and head into town - I'm sure you'll find a department or electrical store that can help you out !

uh. no. speechless.

saturn, mediamarkt, expert, ..., ...

I don't really understand why asking where the best place to buy a scart lead is pathetic. It is quite a simple question and just requires a simple answer. But instead people have to be the joker.
Owain Glyndwr
it is such a simpe questin that even a simpleton knows the answer without having to ask. Unless you been living in a cave with prehistoric creatures and neanderthals you would know that you can buy them in ANY store that sells eleccy stuff. As mentioned above Saturn, Mediamarkt, Kaufhof, and even supermarkets like Real, Wal Mart, Marktkauf etc.

Why do you need a SCART cable to watch TV in any case? You are only telling us half the story.
Spookyfella
Perhaps it needs re-titling: Wanted for free - Scart lead

Or am I cynacl cycli jaded?

Serious answer lies somewhere in the post from Owain Glyndwr !!

Without risking a smackdown again, maybe you could kneel on the street with a cardboard sign that says "will trade xxx for scart cable"?

Might get you what you need...or you could try asking God. Although he might give you the same answer as the other people on this thread... ph34r.gif

mullet, it's like saying, 'i live in Schwabing and want to know where the best palce to buy petrol is, oh and i can't be arsed to drive too far'.

that's why there is a quite acceptable amount of piss-taking going on; plus i have already, out of the kindness of my own heart, told you.

So, now we are all in agreement, I'm still curious to know why you need a SCART cable...

I got mine at Karstadt Münchner Freiheit, but make sure you have the right number of little metal prong thingies so you don't have to go twice.

the right number of little metal prong thingies

If any SCART plug has any more or any less than 21 "little metal prong thingies" (known technically as "pins") then it's not a SCART by definition. It might, of course have fewer connecting cables than little metal prong thingies, so it's best to get a "fully wired SCART", that is, 21 wire connections between two sets of little metal prong thingies...

someone always has to be a smart arse!!!

but thanks for the info on Scart cables
YorkshireLad6
Interesting that you expect us to answer your questions, but you never answer ours...
Born in mind for future postings...

Thanks, now I know. I was thinking of describing them as "the male bits that fit the female bits on the tv socket" but thought better of it. Mighta got done for sexism. blink.gif
