Back in Montreal I worked for several kids science organisations, like Mad Science. I miss doing that, and I was wondering if there is something similar in Munich, be it even in German, there seem to be a few international schools I could teach in english at. In Canada they usually do fairs, after-school and lunch hour workshops, birthday parties, etc.
I miss playing with kids :-(

Check out my Parent and kid(s) Explorer Group. That is exactly the kind of stuff that I want to do along with everything else. Volunteer basis mind you, but we will pay for the supplies.

The
Kids' Kingdom section of the Deutschesmuseum organizes group activities for kids. They sometimes need volunteers but I think one would need some german to be able to work there.

I can't tell you where you could do it in Munich, but I can certainly sympathize with ya. I used to teach science in an after school program and summer day camp called Science Adventures, and it was one of the best jobs I've ever had.

The Bavarian International School has elective programs from 3-4 every afternoon for students from k-5. They have asked for parents and folks to teach if they want.
