Ok,

Whats going on at the moment...

It it

A) Open
cool.gif Closed
C) Being refurbished
D) None of the above

And before any of the Toytowners get their hump about the atmosphsere/service/staff - I have never had a problem down there, always found the guiness & food good! (and its not full of bloody students!)

It's closed and it ain't opening again.

It was due to close anyway around the end of March, but it got shut down before Christmas for a different reason. Not the one I originally believed, but something a little more food related and the brewery decided it wasn't worth investing extra cash since they were pulling the plug anyway.

Apparently the space will now be used as storage for one of the shops there. Sad when a bar becomes a storeroom, but shit happens.

I miss the O'Reilly's pub quiz. But perhaps more importantly, it was a good excuse for the Toytowners to meet up and get bladdered (or at least mildly intoxicated). We could really do with some sort of new weekly venue. If I don't get drunk soon, I'm in serious danger of growing a new liver.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm with you Aquatic...I miss getting together with my fellow Toytowners and imbibing a few too many as well. Where else can we combine makings spectacle's of ourselves and drinking beer? (besides Oktoberfest)

Any other pubs have a decent quiz night anybody wants to try out?

O'Reillys may be gone, but Prinzip is open. They sure don't waste any time in this town.

Apparently a bar/club type affair opening at 10pm. Anyone know anything more about it?

After a quick search on the web and I came across some details at -> http://www.munichx.de/tanzen/prinzip.php3

The official website is at -> http://www.prinzip-club.de/ although there doesn't seem to be much there right now.
