Today morning I received a telephone call from a number +491930100. It said I have an SMS and then read the SMS. Gave me a name and number to call back. I have no idea who this person is, neither about the number. Anyone else knows about this. Tried googling the number and got some websites in German. Coudn't make much sense. Hope its not a virus or from the telemarketing companies targeting my cellphone.

Don't call the number! It is a premium rate number to start with and then you will get no end of unwanted attention once you call it..
Delete the SMS and carry on with your life. Don't look back, look forward

Check your telephone number list. Any names beginning with 'P' have most likely been deleted.

Sorry, Wrong. +491930100 is not a premium rate number, it's the Telekom SMS service centre. Someone has sent you (or is trying to send you) an text-voice SMS as discussed
SMS read aloud on my regular telephone line

Think they meant not to call the number which was given in the SMS rather than not to call the number called him.
Samy, what about T's? They're one of the weaker letters in the phone book and tend to be very susceptible to hackers.

I often get those calls during the night - from numbers starting with "+49137...". They ring during the night as they're pretty sure no one's awake to answer. They usually only let it ring once. These gangsters also suspect that most people are curious about their missed call and as a result will call back the number - unaware that they're liable to be paying a few €'s for their mistake. So simply delete the number and move on. Don't look back.

exactly as YL6 said. It was an SMS. But from an unknown source.
