This is not specifically a dish concealment device...
It is a combined unit.. you cannot conceal a 90cm dish in one of these..
This is what happens when Titles are changed...
Just to clarify things!

Moderation around here is going down hill.
Apart from the spelling of the revised title (which I am sure will now be corrected). this is NOT a solution for people who are forbidden dishes, as by its very nature, it is still a dish, albeit hidden. It is, however, a potential, but limited (no BBC, ITV) solution for people who want satellite TV (English (Sky) included) but want to conceal the fact they have a satellite dish...

My point being, if for example you are on the ground floor, with a clear veiw to the satellites, yet you do not like the site of a dish on your patio, or the landlords say "no dishes" (which we all know is a grey area) then one of these on your patio is more pleasing to the eye than a standard dish and patio stand!

Moderator: Thank you for correcting the spelling. Now you can correct the grammar. Then you can delete this post. Thank you again, in anticipation.

We are moving to the other side of town and have found a place that we really like, however after reviewing the house rules we saw that tenants must receive written permission to put up a satellite dish (not that they are banned, but still...). Under normal circumstances, I have to admit that I'd more or less ignore this rule and just get a stand that I'd weigh down with bricks so as not to screw anything into the wall, and use some plants to camouflage the dish. Unfortunately though, the apartment's orientation is such that there is a wall which blocks the SSE area which we would need to point the dish at. The only thing that I can think of, apart from unsightly poles to fix the dish onto which would extend from the terrace, is to put something up on the roof (our apartment would be on the 8th floor of a ten storey building). Can anyone tell me what our "rights" are, if any? Does anyone have any ideas as to what approach we could use if we ask to get official permission to put this up? We have not signed the lease yet, if that's any help. Anyone else's past experience or other pointers that can help us to "think outside of the box" on this would very much be appreciated.

Oh! Look! A well-known internet forum has a topic called
Permission to install a satellite dish on roof .
Seriously though, this is a sticky area. Talk to legal or technical professionals before you plunge. Forewarned is forearmed.
