What's up people? I'm a black male from the US, Washington DC to be exact and new to Toytown. I want to say hello and extend well wishes to everyone for the new year as well as shouts out to any other brothers and sisters who might be out there. I live in Erding, a small town 30 minutes outside of Munich where I work as a computer operator. Nice to greet you all!
Peace,
HA

Hey HA, I just got back from New Year's in your home town. I'm still state-side these days but will be returning in a few weeks. Welcome aboard. This place is saturated with Brits, but Hoddy and Elf keep it real for us Americans. Plus, our friendly Brits don't bite too hard.
Smiles,
BS

Welcome Hank, good to see another Yank amongst us, and a guy to boot.
Hey bee, it's good to hear from you. I was watching the news and saw that plane crash in North Carolina and started worrying about you. Glad to hear you are safe and sound and heading back this way soon.

Thanks Hoddy! Yeah, I got my butt in gear and wrote the paper. Defense is Monday. D-Day so to speak. It will be good to have it over...and to be back in Munich where the beer flows free. I think I'll need a few!
As a side note, my aunt made the devilled-eggs at Chritsmas this year. Far inferior to yours! I missed ya as a kitchen side kick.

Good luck bee. When you get back I'll buy you a few beers (I still owe you from Thanksgiving!) to celebrate your passing D Day with flying colors.

Welcome Hank, I'm Granny. I'm not black but I do turn a few darker shades following a days work in the field( although it generally washes off)
I'm also computer illiterate but I do live in your neck of the woods ( near Erding).
In Feb I will be heading to your home town also NY and Delaware. So, any info. on sights not to be missed will be appreciated. I've been many times before, therefore, I've done the tourist bit. Something a little different is what I'm after.

Hi Granny. Well I have not been to NY or Delaware in a long time, but DC I can recommend a few places. If you like Jazz and Creole cooking, go to "Blues Alley" (
www.bluesalley.com) on M Street in Georgetown. BET Soundstage just outside Landover Maryland is also good. Pick up a Friday Washington Post newspaper and the insert called the "Weekender" has all the happenings in the metro area. Enjoy!

Hi Hank (and everyone else!),
Another shout-out from another Oreo (hi Hbutterfly!). I was raised in Cheverly, MD near Landover, MD. Parents had to beltway it into DC for work though.
My boyfriend and I live in France but will be visiting Munich in a week as I have a job interview. (Wish me luck!)
If you know of any Flash jobs there...hook a sistah' up!
Take care!
