Right then,
That's it. No more pregnancy and birth stress. Time for The Snip!
My job on this earth is now done. I don't want any more children. Two is enough.
Now I have no clue about these, except that a mate of mine in Saudi had his to the famous song by Rod Stewart. Don't they do them at home?
Does it affect any of the "undercarriage"? Can one still crack a stiffy?
Time to get meself "done" like I had both my cats in Saudi "done" so they'd have no kittens.
Und?

Respect, Jeremy. My dad had it done - he said there was no problem what so ever (except more relaxed about sex cause he knew there were no more kiddos in the future - too much information for me when I learned that though)

Nothing changes AFAIK - it just means that your semen will no longer contain sperm doesn't it? Stiffies, sex and so on remains the same...

They can be reversed too, I believe.

I just don't like the bloody idea of surgically sharp instruments being anywherre near any part of my undercarriage - apart from when I'm using a razor to touch up my marijuana leaf motif pubic haristyle of course.
Vasectomies are no big deal though, I'll probably get one myself one day.

Yep- what IW said. They're not 100% effective though, so be careful.

I know this is pretty obvious but are you absolutely 100% sure you will not have anymore children?
I was with a man in his early 40's who had meant to have a vasectomy after his 2 children but never got around to it. He and his wife divorced and we started dating, had he had the vasectomy there would have been absolutely no future for us.
We broke up for completely different reasons but the point being he and his wife were done having kids but the situation changed and he wanted to have children with me. He was glad he hadn't had the procedure.

Lots of good websites that will provide men's health information. Generally summary (from a faulty memory) is that you have about a ~90% chance of a few days of discomfort, a few weeks of healing and then you are back in the game. You may note that fluid volume is slightly decreased. Some men have report a reduction in pleasure but this is inconclusive.
So what about the other ~10%? Swollen scrotums, severe pain, little baggies the size of a 5-pin bowling ball. Not fun but the odds are low and in your favour (here is a tip, avoid exertion, including sex for the recommended time period!).
There is a very small risk that the Vas Deferens may grow back together producing a bouncing bundle of "joy/surprise/oh shit" shock in the future. Conversely, vasectomies can be reversed but the success rate is not certain. A donation to a sperm bank can ensure that a future family benefits from your fine breeding stock (a very delicate subject to discuss with your wife to say the least as this involves death, divorce or polygamy).
Good luck!

It is great never having to worry if she will get pregnant.
I can't even imagine raising kids again (changing diapers and all).

It's no big deal, however don't let anybody tell you it doesn't hurt, 'cos it does. The operation is uncomfortable, although it's over quite quickly under a local in a sort of dentist way and for the next few days you will find walking very painful. like all contraception it is not 100% secure but it's pretty close. It can be reversed but the longer the time between the 2 ops means that your body effectively forgets how to make the necessary, so although the pipes are all connected they might as well not be. At least that's what the doc told me. If your serious about no more more kids it's the best way to go.

I've heard that there is a reversable prosedure and a not reversable prosedure. The non reversable prosedure is suppose to be fool proof.
Does anybody know if this is true?

Women who undergo caesarian section can now have a tummy tuck along with the main event.
I wonder if men having a vasectomy can have a wee bit of enlargement surgery while they're in there? You know, to compensate for any feelings of being less virile.

They say men don't lose their desire after having a vasectomy but how do the women feel about it? If a woman knows her man is steril, does she desire sex more or less?
Oh, and I should have never watched this.
