Hey be sure to post if that place is any good. Los Bandidos in Thalkirchnerstr. and Ehrengutstr. is bad. "Corn in the burritos" kind of place, hate that. Or has any Ami here ever seen that in the US? With extensive experience in southern CA, New Mexico, Arkansas, Colorado, and Missouri, I've never seen that and they do it all over Germany. And mushrooms. Bleah.

Allrighty, the reservation is under the name "Monchen" for 8 people at 7pm. It wasn't a problem if there's 1 or 2 more.

IMHO I thought Los Bandidos is a good place, I quite liked the food there (mushrooms or not, I don't care). They have "Happy Day" all day long on Sunday...like happy hour, but then all day long. And no Hazza, you won't see the Fonz there on Sundays...
And very important, it's on the same street where I live, so not am Arsch der Welt like all the other places we go to

Only soft ingredients go inside a burrito!!! I agree, there seems to be an overuse of corn, carrots, mushrooms, etc. 5 ingredients count for 99% of the caliber of the food: cheese, rice, beans, tortilla, and choice of meat. Cheese: can range but should be a sharp yellow cheese unless it is a colby-jack white. Rice is brown or yellow, seasoned, moist but never sticky. Beans, refried or whole pinto, are not so much a side as they are a second entrée (mix with the rice – MMMM!). Tortillas don’t come in packages. The thinner the better; they are just a medium to hold the rest of the food together not a rubber door mat to chew through. Fajita meat comes from skirt steak exclusively

I'm am in for the drinking! Will probably show up later as I am taking an out-of-town friend to the Starkbierfest early. Assuming we make it out of there...

I fell over trying ti get into Lembach last night and landed on my elbow smashing it up - some bugger operated on me and removed something called a schleimbeutal from my elbow. am now in a cast. and many stiches. could do with a beer.

The Fajitas were OK - the bloody terrible prices of the cocktails were what killed me. Good night though I thought, especially as it became an unintentional TT boys night out with one honourary woman along (good to see you Elf) - probably as well that Elf turned out as our business plan in Prague was getting stupid - buying the Charles Bridge??? WTF!!!

Whoa Jimbo, I thought our plan of pooling money to buy a house in Prague and stocking it with Russian mail-order beauties was sound. I mean just look at the growth potential!!

Hmmm, Elf said she was leaving because there was too much testosterone about the place. That gave me a good chuckle.

Bubble Gum, from the sounds of it, the Charles Bridge aspect was purely for a location. It appears to be the Russian beauties who are mail order.

I just saw an advert for a "tex mex" restaurant on a shopping trolley in HL. It's called "viva" and is in Freising. It had pictures of cacti (sp?) and everything!

Mail Order Bridges - Not such a crazy idea... The Brits sold London Bridge to the Americans.

Yeah, and the funny thing about that, is that the American's thought they were buying Tower Bridge !!
