Universitat der Bundeswehr München

Hi,

I am looking for info or rather opinion regarding this university:

Universitat der Bundeswehr München

How good is the university and the Physics department?
Does it have good funding and research programs?

It's website in english wasn't too helpful,

It's a university of the "Bundeswehr" (German Army) which means (as far as I know) you have to join the "Bundeswehr" to be able to study there. Good news is, it's probably the only university in germany where you get paid whilst studying... bad news is, they expect you to serve something like 8 years after you finish your studies. Only officers are admitted, no enlisted.

I looked at their website, and apparently they do not have a physics department at all. There are only 2 physics professors, and they are with the department of electronics and IT. Doesn't exactly sound like high-profile physics research...
