A pretty cool online translation tool:

AJAX Translator

You first select your source and target languages. Then start typing the words to be translated into the top box. Each time you press the 'space' key the translated text is updated in the second box.

The AJAX Translator can translate between the languages English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and French.

It's not clear which translation engine is being used in the back-end.

That is cool, and the translations are not so bad: you can change your sentence structure (of the source) to get the required meaning on the fly!

Free Translation
I have used this one for years and it seems to "learn" as the translations are getting better and better over time.
