Shipping companies :: removals SA <-> Germany

Hi

does anyone have any suggestions/recomendations on sending stuff back to SA? MOst of the companies I have spoken to mainly send stuff to the US or Europe. The Deutsche Post sends packages but that seems like the most expensive way to go.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Have you tried a courier service like DHL? How much stuff is it? Are you coming back?

depends on how much it costs - I was going to move with everything (ie furniture etc) but it looks like it might just be cheaper to start over...

Just to compare, as DHL is usually quite expensive, you should try GLS:

Crown did my move here but I will not recommend them (you can PM me for further information). Another alternative is Stuttafords. They are more expensive than Crown but at least you'll know your stuff is safe. I compared Stuttafords with Crown via some colleagues and they had no complaints about Stuttafords.
